Nvidia leads us into Memorial Day!

US stocks pushed higher Friday as Wall Street looked to bounce back from the Dow’s biggest wipeout in more than a year.

Friday, the S&P 500 rose 0.7%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite gained 1.1%. The blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average rose just above the flatline, eking out a victory after shedding 600 points on Thursday on its worst day in more than a year.

The Vig Co. portfolio had a solid up week and extended our lead over the SP500.

Heading into a Holiday weekend we like to review the year-to-date performance of some of the core sectors and areas we follow. You can see semiconductors - led by Nvidia - is the runaway leader. You can also see Bonds and Real Estate near the bottom, still hurt by higher interest rates.

Utilities have been interesting to follow - apparently being pulled higher by expected greater power needs for huge AI data centers.

We are pleased with KIAM V3's performance this week.
